Wolverhampton Family Information Service is a free, confidential and impartial information service for parents, carers, children and young people living in the City of Wolverhampton.
Every local authority has a Family Information Service. We are an independent FIS, based in the city centre of Wolverhampton and can provide information on childcare and other related information for the whole of the Wolverhampton area.
We receive all our information on registered childcare via OFSTED, who are the organization responsible for inspecting childcare. Visit their website for more information on what they do.

WFIS are offering a new service for people who have just had a baby in Wolverhampton. It is called 'Tell Us Once' and can be used once you have registered the birth at the City Council Registrars Office. The service is designed to be able to help parents inform a number of services at once about the birth of their child. For more information you can download a leaflet here or call us on 01902 574242
